Where to collect souvenir stamps in Hokkaido 🇯🇵📍 Where to collect souvenir stamps in Hokkaido 🇯🇵📍
Japanese souvenir stamps (Eki stamps) are free to collect and can be found at train stations, temples, museums, and many of the main attractions around Japan.
Below are a few I’ve collected during my trip to Sapporo and Noboribetsu:
📍1. Sapporo Munich Christmas market in Odori Park. (Seasonal — runs from late November to December 25.
📍2. The Red Brick Building (Former Hokkaido Government Office Building)
📍3. Sapporo TV Tower. Collect all 3 stamps to make a complete image!
📍4. Jigokudani Valley (inside the gift shop)

❄️It’s a popular site seeing destination in middle of Jigokudanio (Hells Valley) known for volcanic activity, hot springs, and the hell demons you can spot around town.
♨️We stayed at Ryotei Hanayura and booked a room with a private onset. The public bath houses are just as beautiful (not shown in the video since it is prohibited to film inside).
Whet I loved about Noboribetsu is that’s it’s such a walkable, small town and was lovely to explore while snowing.

This is my second time back in Japan and this time, me and the hubs were determined to explore the Northern region.
🏨Accommodations: @sapporograndhotel
The hotel directly connects to the Sapporo Ekimae-dori Underground Walkway, which allows smooth access to the hotel— a must during cold weather!
What I enjoyed:
📍Sapporo Munich Christmas market in Odori Park
📍Beer flight at the Sapporo beer museum
🔖Souvenir stamp collecting
🍻Drinks at some really cool bars
❄️The snow!
🦀 ALL the seafood!
I recommend following the @visit.sapporo account. It was a huge life safer in helping me scope out my ideal itinerary!
Have you’ve been to Sapporo?
